Job searching Part1 — Current plan

As I am approaching the end of my MA now, my immediate focus is on laying the groundwork for my professional and academic future. Here are the key components of my plan:

Internship and Job Search

My primary goal is to secure an internship, ideally in an animator position. An internship could allow me to gain practical industry experience, expand my network, and refine my animation skills. I am actively searching for opportunities and submitting applications to various studios and companies（I also have a job application tracking list in one of my journals）.

Freelance and Remote Work

In addition to seeking internships, I am exploring freelance and remote work opportunities. I regularly check open calls on the internet and submit my portfolio to projects that align with my skills and interests.

Current Employment

For the past two months, I have been working at the CSM library. This job has provided me with a income, helping to cover some of my expenses.It is also quite nice to still have access to the library after graduation.

Academic Aspirations

Looking ahead, I still have interest in pursuing a PhD. To prepare for this, I plan to spend this summer studying for the GRE test and aim to take it later in the year.

By combining these strategies, I hope I could build a relatively solid foundation for my career in animation while keeping my long-term academic goals in sight… finger crossed.
